Welcome to Christian International (CBSE) School !!
We aspire to help raise global citizens strong in values, education and skills !!
Christian International (CBSE) School is the newest member of the Christian Educational Society which runs 6 educational institutions in Dindugul District on a “not for profit basis”. These include an Engineering College, a Polytechnic College, an Arts and Science College, besides 3 schools to cater to different needs of Students.
These institutions were started by a cardio-thoracic surgeon trained in Newcastle, England in the 1960s. On his return to India, he relinquished a lucrative city practice destined for a ‘UK returned’ cardiac surgeon in the 60s, and set up his medical practice among the homeless, landless, debt ridden villagers & farmers of Dindugal/ Palani region. He & his wife then spent their entire lives with the underprivileged and completely transformed the whole area. For these colossal services which he rendered to the nation, Dr. Jacob Cherian was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1999. By the time of his death in 2007, he had started 18 institutions in all, and yet did not hold even a single, personal bank account

In a fast-changing world, we find children addicted to gadgets, clocking unreasonably high screen times, but low on emotional intelligence and skills. It is our endeavour to raise a generation of young people strong in values, education and skills. We commit to provide a safe and fun learning environment for them to build lasting friendships, work in teams, while pursuing their individual ambitions and goals.
While supporting and encouraging them to strive for excellence in academics, sports and extra-curricular activities; we will also expose them to the community around them, crying out for compassion and help. Our Founders established institutions of learning to serve the underprivileged, helping them to become educated and financially independent, leading to the transformation of the community. We would love to see our students imbibe these qualities, as they become responsible, compassionate and responsible citizens.
